. A match, -war, played at Port Levy on Monday between the Port Levy Lmb and A. J. White's Club. A. J. Whites, batting first, scared 66 (Barrett 1/ and Marshall 10) and 56 (Owlcs 24 and Peat 12). Port Levy replied with 89 (Bloor 29, Gammon 13 and Jonmugs 10) and at the call of time had made 32 for threo wickets (J. Fleming 10), Port Levy thus winning by 23 runs on the first innings. For the winners Smith (eight for 21), Gammon (six for 32) and Thomas (five for 27) bowled well, and for the losers Owles (seven for 32) and Arthur were most successful. _ The and a large number of visitors were entertained by the residents of Port Levy.
