PURSUANT to the provisions of. “ The Christchurch Tramway Act, 1306,” Section 14 of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “ The Municipal Corporation Act, 1900,” PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, at a Special Meeting of the Christchurch Tramway Board held at the office of the Tramway Board, ' Falsgrnva Street, Christchurch, on Monday, tho 20th day of May, 1907, a Resolution was passed as follows; 1. THAT the Board raise the sum of Twelve Thousand Pounds by Special Loan for tho purpose of repaying the existing overdraft and other liabilities incurred in acquiring, constructing and equipping its Tramway in the Christchurch- Tramways District other than in that part thereof included in the Riccarton-Sockburn Sub-district thereof. 2. THAT such Loan be repayable on tho first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and that the security of such loan shall be—(a) The whole of the tramway undertakings of the Board, exclusive of those in the Riccarton-Sockbum Sub-dis-trict, and the revenues therefrom subject to existing charges thereon, and (b) A. special rate to be mads and levied for the purposes of such loan on the whole of the Christchurch Tramways District other than the said Ricoar-ton-Sookburn Sub-district thereof. 8. THAT a provision for the repayment of the said loan be made by a Sinking Fund of Ten Shillings per centum per annum. 4., THAT the costs of raising the loan bo paid out of the loan. AND .PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that a Meeting of theChristchurch Tramway Board will bo held, at the office of tho Board, Falsgravo Street, Christchurch, on MONDAY, the 17th day of June, 1907, at the hour of 4 o’clock in the afternoon for the purpose of confirming such Resolution.
