AQUATIC.
The following are the crews selected to represent the Canterbury Rowing Club at the coming championship regatta :—Youths’ Fom - —L. A. D,ougall (stroke), G. S. Collyns (3), T. 0. Fox (2), R. E. Fitzer (bow) ; Maiden Fours —F. W. Suckling (stroke), S. Lightband (3), J. C. L. Merton (2), R. H. Webb (bow); Junior Fours—J. Murphy (stroke), H. M. Douglas (3), J. W. Macbay (2), C. J. Thornton (bow); Champion Fours—E. C. Little (stroke), J. S. Guthrie (3), H. Ayres (2), H. S. Hobbs (bow); Champion Sculls—A. S'. Hardy Johnston; Champion Pains—E. R. Guthrie (stroke), C. H. Hobbs (bow) ; Maiden Double Sculls—S. Lightband. (stroke). J. C. L. Merton (bow). Mr Quealy has written to Mr C. L. Hawkins, the secretary of the Christchurch Regatta Club, stating that he sees no reason why Lake Forsyth should not be in as good order as last year. Since Mr Hawkins had visited it, it had risen 3in, and the high winds are doing away with the slight smell left. It is the intention of some of the members of the Regatta Committee to visit the Jake shortly.
