One gentleman’s gold double-cased Rotherham watch, key winding, number unknown, with the initials “ W.H;R.” engraved oh the case, ana inside the inscription., “ Presented by Church and Choir, Papakaio, August 17, 1899.” Twelve blank cheque forms, numbered from 165,846 to 165,556 inclusive, on the Bank of New Zealand, Dunedin. THE ACCUSED. John Finlay, Who has been arrested ill connection with tlie'Papakaio murder case, is very well known in the Mcthven district, where .he resided for come .years, until about r two months ago, when he suddenly disappeared.
