At the wool sales there was keen competition for all classes, and prices were the highest of the series. / The National Mortgage and Agency Company has received the following cable message from its London office, dated May 14;—“ The wool market is active at the advance; merinoes 5 per cent, coarse croes-breds, all grades, and slipes Ik per cent; for line medium the market is firm, but not advanced.
