The Total Sum to be Borrowed is ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS (£100,000.) S. The Proposed Security for the Loan will be one or both of tho following: (a) The Whole of the Tramway Undertakings of the Board and the Revenues arising therefrom, inclusive of the proposed additional workd, but exclusive ‘of tho Riccarton-Sockburn - Line and the revenues therefrom. (b) A Special Rate Made and Levied for , the purpose over the Christchurch 1 ' Tramways District, hut excluding the Biccaxton-Sockbuim Suh-district. The. Proposed Loan is to rank pari -passu with the original tramway loan . of £250,000. Provision for repayment will he made by the creation of a Sinking Fund of Ten Shillings per centum per annum. 4. It is' proposed to pay out of the Loan:—- . . (a) The cost of raising the loan. (b) Interest for the first ' y ear, and, in accordance with Section 47 of the Christchurch Tramways District Act, 1902, interest while any work comprised in the undertaking is being constructed (not exceeding three years.) .
