PRESENTATIONS.
Yesterday Mr W. R. Devereux, on .•elinquishing tho position of produce ucticneer for the North Canterbury 10-operative Stores Company, was presented by tho manager, Mr ,E. W. ilelph, on behalf of the directors, with m auctioneer’s hammer, suitably inscribed. Jn making tho presentation, .Ir Relph heartily thanked the recipient for the interest ho had taken in the company’s business. Miss Benjamin, organist of St Savour’s Church, Templeton, who is caving for the North Island on a holilay, has been presented with a silver.ountod purse from members of tho ,‘hoir. Oh Saturday night the staff of the ohburton Post ami Telegraph Office resented Miss Bean, telephone cadette, ith a gold chain and greenstone heart endant on the occasion of her approaching marriage.
