MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.

The monthly meeting of the Heathcot* Band of Hope was, held .on Wednesday, when there was a good attendance. A varied programme was gone through and three pledges were lasen. The monthly meeting of tho Tai Tapu Band of Hope was held on Sunday afternoon. There was a very good attendance, and Mr J. L-eney, president, occupied the chair. Tho programme consisted of a. quartette by Miss Watson, Messrs Watson (2) and Dulieu; songs by Mrs Suckling, Messrs H. Field and H. Osborne, and Master Gordon Pcryman; recitations by Mbses Mutton (2), Dora Heinzmann, Thomas Farrell and William Barnett; an< addresses by Messrs Field and Bone. Ml W. K. Watson presided at the organ.-
