During the de-bate Mr Manger declared that the falling off in the Unionists of- Neij, Zealand was due to the .great prosperity of the workers. Wages had never been eo high, and the conditions were so satisfactory that the men were getting carelee6 and neglecting their Unions. A prominent. Auckland Unionist was his authority. The House of Representatives adjourned till Tuesday, when tho discussion' on the critical amendment will commence. Latest forecasts are that the Government will be in a minority of four or five. Humours are current that it is possible a dissolution wjil be asked for.
