Poidevin, the ex-New South Wales cricketer, beads the London County averages with 454 runs; Murdoch is second with 35. The annual meeting of the Lyttelton Methodist Cricket Club was held on Wednesday. A satisfactory report of the past season wah read, the club being tho winners of the Methodist competition. Mr W. Radcliffe was elected president, and the following officers were chosen:—Captain, Mr W. Stewart; vice-captain, Mr W. E. Cooke; treasurer, Mr W. Foster; secretary, Mr H. H. Cook; committee—Messrs J. Wilson, F. Lord, F. Chingue, J. Higgs, W. Whitford, G. Parker, H. Parker and P. Badcliffe. Several new members were elected.
