MARKET REPORTS.

There was a good yarding of all classes at the Addington Sakyards yesterday, and the usual attendance, of buyens. The entry comprised 7909 sheep, 430 cattle, and 355 pigs- ■ X Fat Cattle. —The entry numbered 149, and included a larger proportion of prime steer beef than was the case last week. The previous high rates were fully maintained, the market being firm at 3bs to 58s per ,1001 b for prime steers, and 30s to 34s for inferior quality. A line of 15 steers submitted on behalf of a southern client, realised from £lO to £l4 ss, and 10 from Mr G. G. Holmes (Halswcll) from £l2 to £l4 15s. Other steers realised from £8 7s. 6d to £l4 10s 6d, and extra prime £l6, heifers £7 to £l2 15s, cows £5 15s to £ll ss, and two extra £l2 to £l3 15s. Calves. —There was a large entry of vealers, and prices ranged from os to £3, according to size and quality. Store Cattle. —There was a. fair entry and .a keen demand for all good sorts. Fifteen to eighteen-months-old realised £2 10s 6d to £3 ss, two-year-old steers £5 5s to £5 12s 6d, three-year-old sU-ers £7 10s, I'liree-year-old heifers £5 10s, dry cows £3 to £4 7s 6d. , Dairy Cattle. —An average yarding sold at prices ranging from £4 to £8 ss. Fat Sheep. —Tbene was a large yarding, which comprised a largo proportion of light ■and unfinished wethers. For these the demand, was a trifle slack as compared, with recent sales, but young ewes and prime ■wethers maintained late values. The range of prices was;—Piume wethers £2s to 26s 9d, light and unfinished sorts 18s 4d to 21s lOd, merino 15s 6d to 18s, lighter 12s lOd to 13s 9d, ■prime ewes 20s to 25s 3d, inferior 14s to 19s, wethers and ewes 12a 6d to 21s.
