* The- usual monthly meeting of the Tai Tapu Band of Hope was held on Sunday afternoon. There was a good attendance, and Air J. Atesa occupied, tho chair. The. programme consisted of songs by Airs Suckling Alias Barnett, Air O. IT. AVatson, mid Masters John Barnett and L. AA r . Peryman, recitations by Aliases B. Brake and E. Johnston and Master L. Dulicu, gramaphone selections by Air 0. "AI. Suckling, and an address by tho Rev S. H. D. Pcryman, of Levin, AVellington.
