The company had a fine muster last Wednesday evening, though the night iras cold and wet. The men received their first- lesion in musketry with the new rifle, under the officers and sergeants, and'thirty of them, passed the captain’s '-x----animation in, naming the parts of the rifle. Next Wednesday evening the instruction 1 will be continued 1 , -and prize-firing with the new rifle will be commenced in a few days.
