CURRENT NOTICES.
There has been a large denrand for tickets for the troopers’ social in the Sydenham Druids’ Hall on August 8, and it has been decided to 'admit ticket-holders only. A special train will leave Christchurch at 1.10 p.m. to-morrow for Spckburn, in connection with the Hunt Club’s races. Applications are invited for the position of organist at Christchurch Cathedral, A meeting of municipal electors will be held in the Wesleyan Schoolroom, Brougham Street, Sydenham, on August 15, -to consider the proposals of the Sydenham Borough Council in regard ,to a special loan of £10,"000.
