LONDON, July 31. \ Lord Hawke-,.. captain \pf the Yorkshire County Eleven, states that the? wish of the Committee of the Yorkshire County with regard to Rhodes is equal to a command, and applies also to Hirst. The ground of the objection is that M'Laren's team ia not representative of England, that Rhodes is too young to stand the strain of the tour, and that Hirst, although not named as a likely member of the team, is lame.
