Tho final rormd for the Associated 'Corps ■Challenge 'Shield was fired on Saturday, at ißromley. The weather and light were both good, and some fine scores were put up at500yds. Sergeant'Buntin (Engineers) and Private 'Trent (College) put on possibles at this range, Captain Dougail, Quanermaster-Ser-goant Watts, 'Corporals A. and -P. Dodd, and Corporal Williams each getting 32. At 600yds, 'Colour-'Sergeant Ward (Guards) was highest with 31. The conditions were seven shots at 500 and 600yds, with one sigh ter at each range. Three teams only were in the final, viz., Engineers, City Guards and City Rifles. The 'Engineers -succeeded in- carrying off the Shield, with the Guards second, and City Rifles third.
