Lord Roberts’s despatches, have been created Companions of the Order of the Bath:—Victoria—Colonel T. Price, Lieutenant-Colonel N. W. Kelly; New South Wales—Major J. M. Anfcill, Colonel Williams, of the Army Medical Corps; Queensland—Colonel Ricardo, Majors Bacon, Brown, .Sellheim and Tunbridge; South Australia—Colonel Gordon, Lieuten-ant-Colonel Rowell and Major Reade. (Received April 20, 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 20. The following honours also have been awarded: —Companions of the Bath—Colonel Carthew Yorstoun, of the Black Watch; New South Wales Bushmen— Colonel Mackay; New Zealand—Lieuten-ant-Colonel Newall, Majors Cradock, Davies arid Robin; Tasmania —Colonel Wallack and Major Caineron; West Australia—Colonel Pilkington and Major Vialls; Cape Mounted Rifles—Colonel E. H. Dalgety and Major Karri Davies. • Commander of the Bath—Surgeon Sir Thomas Fitzgerald, of Melbourne.
Companions of St Michael and St George —Colonel Byron and Major Chanvel, Queensland ; Lieutenant-Colonel Airey ; New South Wales; Major Jowsey, New Zealand; Colonel Hoad and Major M’Leish, Victoria.
Distinguished Service Order —New South Wales Bushmen—Captain Baker; Mounted Infantry—Captains Bennett, Holmes, Hilliard and Green, Surgeon-Captains Roth and. Perkins, Lieutenants Butter, Christie, Dove, Doyle, Moore, Cope, Learmouth and Fiaschi; New Zealand—Captains T. Major and Poison, Lieutenants J. Hughes and Todd;' Queensland—Captains Duka, Reid and Gordon, Lieutenant Glasgow; ' South Australia—Captain Collins, Lieutenants Stapleton, Humphries and Ives. Tas-mania—-Captains Lewis and Riggall, Lieutenants Anderson and Perkins; Victorian Mounted Rifles—Lieutenants Stanghton, Lilley and Kirby; West Australian Mounted Rifles—Captain Parker, Lieutenants ling, Castilla, Vernon and Oliver. Honours also were awarded to Imperial Army officers commanding Australasian and Canadian Contingents. (Received April 22, 1.5 a.m.) LONDON, April 21. The honours cover the period up to the date of Lord Roberts surrendering the command. Further distinctions in connection with, the auxiliary forces are promised.
