TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —May I moke an appeal to your readers for gifts of old linen, clothes, and boots for my poorer patients. A few ladies meet weekly to mend and make up bed linen and clothing that indy be required for tlie use of those who, through illness and poverty, are unable to provide tor them selves.
