The Russian newspapers are surprisingly unfriendly in their comments on the AngloRussian agreement, suspecting British designs on the Yangtse Valley. The “ Novoe Vremya ” says that the agreement is minimised by being limited to technical points. It does not impair Russia’s liberty of action.
