Ah offer Was received to raise the Tasmania with patent appliances belonging to the cohipany for £2OOO, the tenderer id provide everything. Mr Arundel, who has been twice on the Tasmania recently, is confident of the success of the experiment, arid steps are to be taken, to carry out the wotk within a month. It was also arranged to hate a trial of a patent screw propeller, which, it is claimed, Will increase the speed of steamers considerably, made immediately. , . . , ~
