OBITUARY.

. Another of the early Rangiora settlers, Mrs Pring, wife of Mr T. Pring, died on Tuesday. The deceased lady came to the colony with her husband abou>fc forty-three years ago, and settled in Rangiora. She took an active interest in temperance work, having been a member of the Good Intent Lodge of Good Templars from its infancy. Being of a most kindly and genial disposition, she was held in the highest esteem by all her friends. She leaves a grown-up family to deplore, their loss. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 10. Mr George Allen, an oUd resident of Wellington, and well known in the boat-build-ing trade in the early days, died to-day, after a brief illness. Grant, manager of the Assets Company's Waihaorunga Estate, Waimate, was found dead in his bedroom at the Empire Hotel this morning. He had died while undressing.
