The rain which fell on Monday niebt and I^rioas! y interfered with the Addington Horticultural Society’s Chrysanthemum and Pniit Show, which was Md tif Methodist Schoolroom, Street. Many blooms intendedfor exhibition were spoiled, and the . competition was rather limited. Evans) made special mention of the ferns in a cohectem of gramhousa pktnts shown by Mr J. Hefwor&, aaad highly commanded Messrs J. E. Yates’s and W. H. Robinson’s' collections of pat plants, which also includ- ' ed some fine ferns. Mr 6.
