ANNIVERSARY SERVICES.
The twenty-fifth anniversary of tbe Cambridge Terrace Primitive Methodist SundaySchool was celebrated on Sunday. The church had, been very tastefully decorated for the occasion. Three services were held, the preachers being the Rev J. A. Hosting in the morning and the Rev T. E. Thomas, M.A., in tho evening, and in the afternoon a children's service was conducted by the Rev T. H. Lyon. At the latter a number of recitations and a dialogue were rendered by tha scholars with good effect. The attendances were large, the church being filled at the morning service, and in the afternoon and evening the building was crowded to its utmost capacity, and seats had to be placed in all the available spaces. The singing of the children, who were assisted by the choir and an excellent orchestra, was greatly enjoyed,'and showed much careful ti'aming by Mr Earwaker, the choirmaster.. The anniversary ■ soiree will’ be held to-night, and at the public, meeting following, the" tea the programme will .consist of addresses by the Rev Dr Erwin and the Rev W. Lee, and recitations and singing by the children.
