The direct liner Duke of Sutherland was floated but of the graving dock yesterday morning, after having her hull below -water-mark cleaned. Shaw, Sayill and Albion Company’s steamer Aotea will arrive in port to-day to load produce. Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s barque Akaroa, Captain Murray, which has taken in a portion of her outward freight, will remain in Lyttelton till next season. She will tranship her cargo to the Aotea. ( The steamer Hesketh, after having been laid up in Lyttelton for several weeks, ] undergoing a complete overhaul, left yesterday for Greymouth, Just before taking her departure the steamer was taken out to the piles, and Captain M’Lellan adjusted her compasses.
