Entries for handicap events must be made with the Secretary, accompanied by entrance fees, and also previous performances, not later than SATURDAY, March 13th. All protests must be made within fifteen minutes after the conclusion of the event to, which the protest refers. Two competitors or no first prize, three or no second. Should only one come forward in Nos. 4 and 6 he will, if competent, receive the arize. Youths under 16 years not allowed to compete with men. Youths to send their age with entries. Handicaps will appear in “ Times ” and “ Press" of March 20th. District means between Ashley and Hurunni. Competitors using unbecoming language or disobeying starter will be disqualified at option of starter. Competitors leaving mark before the report of pistol will be penalised. Competitors are requested to send their proper address to the Secretary when sending entries, so as to receive pass tickets. Admission to Grounds Is, Children Free. Excursion Train will run from Christchurch, calling at intermediate stations, at Excursion Faros.
