CHRISTGHURCH GOLF CLUB.
The memhess of the Christchurch Golf Club played a handicap tournament; yesterday morning- In the afternoon a club match between sides selected by the Captain and Secretary was played. The former game was principally noticeable for the fine form displayed by Dr Qosset, who won from the scratch mack with a net score of 85. The following are the scores registered in the handicap rournsment Dr Gosaet (sor), not score 85 ; Marshall (11), 88; 0. M’Donald (27), 110 ; J. Tuj-abuP (15), 112; D. Lambie (eor). 122. The match between sides chosen b-v the Captain and the Secretary was won by the CaptainVside by five holes. Msedoaald 0; total 21. The course and the putting greens are now in very good order, end it is expected that some g6od scores will be recorded during the rest of the season.
