PIGEON FLYING .

The Christchurch Pigeon Flying Club was very fortunate in having such a perfect day for holding its long-distance-race, which was flown from Camara on Saturday. The little voyagers started on their long journey at II a.m., and the winners arrived at their destination at 1.53 p.m., having compassed tho distance in the respectable time of 2hra 53 min, which constitutes a record for this race.
