ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
[Per Press Association.] NAPIER, Nov. 20. The lad accidentally shot yesterday is none tbe worse for the injury. The pellet jnst entered his skin and has been extracted. WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. A boy named Fred Holloway, eight years old, son of MrF. C. Holloway, was killed at the Railway Station to-day by being run over by a waggon. DUNEDIN. Nov. 20. David. Reid, employed at Messrs' Ross and Glendinning’s, is reported to have been drowned at Wafpahi. Mr Reid is a member of the firm of Reid and Gray, and his age was about thirty. Yesterday morning Inspector Ponder a telegram from Constable Johnston, stationed at Waian, stating that the.infant child of A. C. Islip, shepherd to Me J. M'Farlane, Achray, died rather suddenly at 7 a.m. Constable Smart, stationed at Kaikoura, telegraphed to Inspector Pender yesterday that a Maori named Meihana Werema Kapofeiki fell off a dray on Tuesday night. The wheel passed over his body, and he died yesterday from the injuries caused thereby.
