Mails close for the following places as nndet (subject to the necessary alterations) : Friday, April 22. For Northern Ports per Rosamond, at 9.40 a.m.; late fee letters, 9.50 0.m. ; guard's van, 10,25 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Mawhera, at 12.80 p.m.; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m,; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. tram. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, and West Indies (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Cano of Good Hope, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c., &c,, per s.s. Hawea, as follows:—Ordinary letters at 7 p.m.; late fee letters at 7.15 p.m.; books and newspapers. 6.30 p.m.; money orders at 4 p.m.; registered letters at 5 p.m.; guard’s van, 8.15 p.m. train. This moil will be dae in London on May 30. Saturday, April 23. For Otago, par Wainai, at 8.20 p.m.; late foe letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 8 p.m.
