Ad valorem 156 16 8 Other duties 13 3 0 Total ... ... ... £388 14 3 Messrs Clifford and Co. report on their weekly ■sale, Saturday, Oct 25, as follows:—Pigs—Still very scarce, and prices consequently high; suckers, 9s to 12s each; medium stores, 18s to 255; porkers, 35s to SOe each. Poultry—A good demand has set in, and some pens of superior sorts fetched extreme rates. Fowls, 3s 6d to 5s per pair. Ducks, 5s to 7s per pair. Geese, 10s to 12s per pair. Turkeys, 12s to 16s per pair. At the indoor sals of fumitare, produce, and sundries, satisfactory prices were realised. We disposed of second hand spring carts from £lO to £l2; and harness, from £3 to £5 per set.
