IN CHAMBERS. Tuesday, August 20. (Before His Honor Mr Justice Johnston.) Twestvman asd Otheeb v. Jebbon.— Mr Garrick appeared for the plaintiff and asked for the settlement of i»stWß and the
fixing of date of trial. The {hum were fixed, date of trial to b» made subject to a future motion.
In the matter of William Deakin, a debtor, Mr George Harper applied for his discharge. It was mentioned that the debtor had paid twenty shillings in tho £ and interest. Petition being informal, matter was allowed to stand over.
In the matter of tho will of George Early. On (he application of Dr Forster, probate was granted. Mr Wynn Williams applied, under tho Leases and Sales of bottled Estates’ Act, for on order reviving the petition in tho case of Jane Cain and others. Tho order had lapsed from the death of ono of the petitioners, which required an application for an order of revival. Order granted.

Lair® Tbawsfbb Act akd Oatbat of Gbobgb Bobbbti.—ln this oass a caveat had been entered by Roberts against dealing with a certain piece of lend, namely, sections 479, 480, 481, and 482. Mr Garrick had been called upon to show cause why this caveat should not bo reversed on the grounds (1) that the grounds upon which the caveat had been lodged wove not. grounds upon which a caveat could he lodged, aud (2) t hat the I'acect its* false in substance. Mr Garnet showed cause ; Mr Travel'* appeared in support of fit© rule. After argument, judgment was reserved. ~ i ’ ,
