Sir,—l regret to be obliged to have to request a public-.acknowledgment from Mr Stanley, the Secretary of the Orphan Asylum, of the donation of (£2O) twenty pounds, recently handed to that Institution by the Christchurch Dramatic Club. The members of the club regret to be obliged to have to adopt this means of .obtaining an acknowledgment, but Mr Stanley's want of courtesy has left uo other course open to them, the public being interested as well aB the members of the club, By order of the committee.
