MAIL NOTICE.
Mails per N.Z.S.N. Company's steamer for the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Ohristehurcli at 8 a.m., and at Lyttelton, at 10 a.m. on Saturday the loth instant. Mails per Airedale for England, India, tlio Mediterranean ports, the Australian Colonies, Olago and Southland, will close at Christchurch at 7 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 9 a.m., on Tuesday the Hlh instant. Money orders must he procured before 3 p.ru, and letters for registry must bo posted before 6 p.m., on Monday, the 17tli instant. Late letters, for places beyond the Colony by payment of an extra ahilling'stauip, and for places within the Colony, by payment oi' an extra sixpenny slump upon each letter, can be posted at Christchurch until 9.30 a.m., and at Lyttelton until 11 a.m., on Monday, tho 18th instant.
