Conditional Licenses were granted to William Birdling, Lake Ellesinere, and John Ford Tucker, Realty's track. The applications of Philip Martin and A. W. Money for general licenses, and of J. P. Oakes and Edward Thomas for hotel licenses, were refused, the two latter on the ground of an informality in their applications. I
The following persons who had made applications for licenses did not appear:—
John Coker, general license, Gloucester street, Christchurch; Charles Flowers and Matthew Robson, conditional license, Rakaia; Thomas Gee, refreshment license, Colombo street, Christchurch; Edmund Shakspere, conditional license, River Halswell.
