PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT. fT^HE above township has been surveyed and laid ,-*- off in quarter-acre sections, and is now open for sale, at an upset price uniform with the Government townships. All lots applied for will be submitted monthly to public auction. A vessel is now employed as a regular trader to Lyttelton ; a jetty and warehouse are already constructed ; and this port will command the shipment of all the wool from the northern district.
