Sew Hoy Big Beach Co. obtained 61oz 17dwts 12grs. The Electric Dredging Co. has definitely decideil to place two more dredges on the river before Christmas. Tueir returns are still excellent.—Cromwell Argus. The Tnapeka Times says that the Blue Spur Conso'idated Gold Co. have, after a three months’ run, just completed cleaningup operations. The return of gold was 1,1360z, which is about 170oz less than the yield for the three months ending November of last year. The total output of the precious metal for the past twelve months was 4,398r-z, which is 6090z in excess of that of the previous year. A big lode carrying fair gold has been struck in the Maritana Central mine W.A. Some of the richest stone ever obtained at Kalgoorlie is being raised from the 80ft level of the Croesm. The mine is studded with coarse gold. The development of the claims at Cue is being rapidly pushed along with excellent results.

kitaki Gold Dredging Company (Limited* for 62 hours’ dredging. An effort is being made to amalgamate the claims at Tinkers, and to work the same by one big company. The water supply, which >8 rarely sufficient to supply the whole of the claims now worked, could then be uitlised to more advantage. Meetings of the different companies are being held, but noth* ing definite has been arrived at yet.
