RED CROSS FUNDS.
AN APPRECIATION.
The following letter has been received by the Union Bank, Helensville, in response to the remittance of proceeds of the evening given by Miss Maud Rimmer and her pupils for the above funds: — Auckland, 12-1-18. Dear Sir, —Mr P. H. Upton has handed me your letter of the 18th inst., which enclosed cheque for* £107, as the nett proceeds of tbfe Red Cross Evening given *mU,j Miss Maud Rimmer and WKr pupils on December 20th. j.'l-rw 1 would be pleased if you would extend to this lady and her pupils my sincere gratitude for their splendid response to our general appeal to augment the funds of the British Red Cross, and I feel m certain in time to come they will I never regret having done their J little bit in this great struggle.
