AT DARGAVILLE.

The Northern Wairoa Eacing Club's meeting, held at Dargaville on Saturday, passed off successfully. The sum ot £2855 was passed through the totalisator. The following were the results : —

Finlayson Handicap of 30soys, one mile.—Novation, Bst, 1; Burst, Bst, % ; Battletide, 3. Won by eight lengths. Time, lm 55secs.

Maiden Handicap of 25sovs, six furlongs.—Araluen, Bst, 1; Lucitana, Bst 71b, 2 ; Winning Lady, Bst, 3. Won by a head. Time, lm 19 l-ssecs.

Hack Cup of 55sovs, one mile and aquarter.—Novation, 7st 51b, 1; Vladinoy, Bst 51b, 2 ; Miss Avalanche, 7st 121b, 3, Won by half a length. Time, lm 6 l-ss.
