ANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI U EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschviffc 1879), Mosler, M.D: Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports:— The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, inflammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c. are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c, London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the host known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonriv;l, Novem ber, 1881).—In diseases of the kidneyseither active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsv, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water, twice or three times daily. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal. Jan., 1882).—Pifzer, iM.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical C'olfege, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhomalarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diphtheria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c. ; ineffectually retards thfi disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a genera! breaking-up of the blood | and in death. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous diaj thesis. Prescribed four drops to be taken three times daily; also, tongue | wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. | (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhns of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following condition :—No swelling, heat or discoloration, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880). The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as au injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan s 1882).
