At Kauroa on Wednesday sth we had a yarding of about 150 cattle, which sold very readily to a good attendance of keen buyers. Springers made from lOgns to £l3 2s 6d; 2yr steers £lO 5s ; 2yr Polled Angus and Hereford heifers £8 10s to £9 10s ; Shorthorn heifers same age, £9 12s ; yearling steeis from £7 5s to £8 6s ; bulls from 9gns to 15gns. Woolly ewe hoggets at 28s ; woolly wether hoggets. 27s 3d.
