Ko nga tamariki wera e whakamataku ana kite ahi. (Burnt bairns dread the fire.) 6. Pai ake te kaihe e whakawaha ana i a au, i te hoiho e whakataka ana i a au. (Better ride on an ass that carries me than a horse that throws me.)
