CRIPPLED CHILDREN

ENDOWING WILSON HOME. SUBSCRIPTION LISTS OPENED. A public meeting is to be held in the Borough Council Chambers on Monday evening to discuss the matter of raising a sum in Te Kuiti to augment the Auckland Mayor’s Fund to endow and equip the Wilsom Home for Crippled Children. Representatives of local organisations in particular are requested to attend. The sum of £15,000 is required for the purpose in view, and it is hoped that Te Kuiti will be able to forward a fairly considerable sum to aid in the furtherance of this laudable project. A public subscription list has been opened to-day, the total donated by the Te Kuiti Borough Council, and standing at £3 3s, made up of £2 2s donated by the Te Kuiti Borough Council, and £1 Is donated by Mr. and Mrs. T. Carroll. Subscription lists are at the Borough Council office, the Chronicle office, and Messrs Douglas and Hughes, Mason and Dobson, and W. S. Cato’s shops.
