SWIMMING BATHS

PUBLIC MEETING CALLED. By advertisement in this issue a public meeting’ is called to consider the question of swimming baths for Te Kuiti. The meeting will be held in the Municipal Hall on Wednesday next, the 26th inst., at 8 p.m., and His Worship the Mayor, Mr. T. Carroll, will preside. The matter of providing adequate bathing facilities for Te Kuiti has been freely discussed for some considerable time and it is anticipated that a large and fully representative gathering of the public will be present at the meeting to consider ways and means of providing baths for the town.
