1 LOAN TO FRANCE. LARGEST SINCE WAR. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 11.45 a.m.) Paris, February 17. The Echo de Paris expects the British will conclude the £40,000,000 loan to the French Treasury withm a week and it will run from nine to twelve months at 3 per cent, in the form of bank credits. It is the largest international transaction on the London market since the Great War.
