MANGAPU DRAINAGE BD.

OBJECTIONS TO RE-CLASSIFICA-TION. A total of seven objections to the reclassification of the lands of the Mangapu Drainage Board's area were received at a meeting of the Board held on Friday. The Board decided to take no action in the matter, and the objections to the reclassification will come before the Magistrate's Court on the 16th October. It was also decided that a reduction of 25 per cent, be made in the valuations of those properties which have not been recently revalued, following on the same principle as the County Council.
