TEAMS FOR SATURDAY. The, following teams have been selected from members of the Pio Pio Cricket Club to play a match on the Pio Pio School Ground at 2 p.m. on Saturday next: — "A" Team: Arneil (Captain), Rodger, Maata, Glasgow, Newton, Somerfield, S. Ronaldson, F. Smyth, D. MacKe.nzie, Kelly, M. Smith, G. Anderson, Wilson, Asto'n, J. Trust, Stratford, M. Case. "B" Team: N. Ronaldson (Captain), Vine, Snell, B. Smyth, P. Smyth, Faulke, P. Black, Furniss, I. MacKenzie, H. Smith, A. Robertson, N. Griffin, J. Rauputu, Richardson, R. W. Neal, J. Kilmartin. OLD BOYS CLUB. The first'meeting of the executive committee of the Old Boys' Cricket Club for the 1934-35 season, was held last night, there being present Mr. H. C. Evans, H. Martin, Ryans (secretary), Wallace, West, J. Evans, and G. Elliott. On an inventory of the gear being taken, it was resolved to procure two new bats, three balls, 4 sets of pads, 1 pair of gauntlets, also to forward four of last year's bats for renovation. The secretary reported an in r crease in young men joining up with the club. Mr. G. Elliott stated the wireless broadcasting of the Test matches had created a much wider interest in the game throughout the Dominion. A good season's sport was anticipated. It was resolved to enter two teams for the competitions, with the possibility of a third to play in the proposed second grade competition. Two evenly balanced teams were selected, and on the motion of Messrs. G. Elliott and J. Evans the following players were accepted for registration for the respective teams, to be known as Te Kuiti Colts and Te Kuiti Old Boys:— Old Boys: H. E. Martin, Brainsby, F. Liddell, G. Corin, S. M. Elliott, K. Low 1 , Edwards, W. Irving, Halliday, Wooten, W. McNaught, Jackson, Matthews, Jonasson, S. Corin.

Colts: J. Evans, J. Dinsdale, J. Hine, Hutchins, H. McLeod, Wallace, West, Ryan, E. Jones, R. Seccombe, J. Lambie, Murdoch, J. Irving, C. Stevens, R. McLeod.
