Praise for the press of New Zealand wad voiced by Sir Percy Mackinnon, former chairman of Lloyd's, London, in an interview _ given in Wellington. Sir Percy said he was particularly impressed by the moderate tone of the newspapers of the Dominion, and considered the cable service covering Empire and foreign news very fine indeed. New Zealand, Sii- Percy said, was quite detached from the rest of the world, and he had found in consequence that her people were able to take a much more impartial view than many other countries.
