WEDDING
GODDARD—FITZGIBBON. A very pretty "pink" wedding was celebrated, at the Marakopa Hall on Wednesday, November 9th, when Gladys, third daughter of Mx*s. Fitzgibbon, was married to George, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goddard, Hamilton. The Rev. Mr. Wilde performed the ceremony. The bride, who entered the hall on the arm of her brother-in-law, Mr. E. A. Mosley, wore a handsome frock of palest pink lace over a slip of deeper shade, with lace coatee. Her long veil was held in place with a wreath of orange blossom. A beautiful bouquet of roses of two shades of pink completed a most charming picture. The bridesmaid, Miss Inez Fitzgibbon, sister of the bride, wore a sleeveless frock of pink satin, and large flop hat. She carried a posy of pale tinted pinks with pink streamers. Little Nellie Hunter was flower girl and wore a dress of pale pink georgette and carried a basket of roses. Mrs. Fitzgibbon, the bride's mother, wore black crepe de chine with apricot facings and black hat. She carried a bouquet of apricot flowers. Mrs. Goddard, the bridegroom's mother, wore a black dress with long black silk coat. The hall had been most beautifully decorated by girl friends of the bride in nink and white streamers, nikau palms and pink roses, and was a bower of loveliness. The WeddingMarch was played by Miss Reeve, Marakopa. After the breakfast, which only relatives attended, Mr. and Mrs. Goddard left by car for their honeymoon. For travelling the bride wore a brown costume and brown hat to match.
