W.D.F.U.
TE KUITI BRANCH. The monthly meeting of the Te Kuiti bra'nch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Presbyterian Hall on Friday, July 29. Mrs. W. A. Lee presided over a fair attendance of members and friends. Te Kumi ladies were hostesses for the clay. After luncheon, members greatly appreciated a lecture on "Home Nursing" given by Mrs. Sanders, of Hangatiki, who, using a dummy figure, gave a most intei-esting and practical demonstration, which should be invaluable to country women. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mrs. Sanders, who had come at great personal inconvenience. It was decided to hold a general business meeting on Wednesday, August 12, when a large attendance is desired.
