FINGER-PRINT TESTS.
RESULTS OF EXAMINATIONS. An officer of the finger-print department of New Scotland Yard, London detective headquarters, giving evidence i'n a recent case before Judge Gregory at the Central Criminal Court, London, said that he had made "some millions of examinations" of finger-prints and he bad never found those of two individuals alike. In reply to questions as to the possible effects of time and atmosphere, the officer said fingerprints did 'not deteriorate in the course of time and would not be affected by the atmosphere.
